Verification

Verification is important as Squad in Touch contains sensitive information and as policy we have set up a two level verification process for all users so schools can ensure that the user signing up is the correct individual and matches data on their system. It is up to the school to ensure verification of users is correct. The platform won’t allow an individual to proceed with the registration unless both codes have been confirmed.


The verification required is; mobile phone number and email address. You will receive a different code to your phone and email. Please ensure your data matches the data the school has on file, if it does not please get in touch with your school.

Sign up details required

Details every user is required to provide include:

• name and surname;
• email address;
• mobile phone number;
• password for accessing an account.

Optional sign up details

Optional detials a user can put in;

• Date of Birth
• Gender

Parental sign up specifics

When a parental user signs up, they can add details about the child(ren) they are requesting to be linked to. This is up to the school to specify the required information the parents need to fill out; , the options are;

• First Name
• Last Name
• DOB
• Gender
• Form Group
• House

We can turn on the option to enable parental Auto-accepting; when a parent is automatically accepted onto the school Squad In Touch platform. This can be based on factors of the schools choosing;

• Emergency contact details (phone number and/or email address);
• Unique code that can be provided by the school or assigned by Squad in Touch.

When a parent is auto-accepted they will be linked with their child(ren). The alternative to this would be to accept each parent individually
